This is Werner, ON6ND with his beautiful home-built variometer loading coil.
This is Werner, ON6ND's novel high-capacitance vertical aerial. The top half of the tower is insulated and its capacitance increased by the 2mtr diameter wire mesh sleeve around it. Werner only runs 150W RF and his signal was very good in GM so it works!
Here is a schematic of the system, which now includes a loading coil at the bottom of the top-loading section.
